Coupon Organization

Most people have trouble with organization. Being organized is key if you want to save money. There is no right or wrong way to organize coupons-it is what works best for you!

I started out with a small coupon organizer that you can pick up at the dollar store but I ran out of room quickly so I upgraded to the binder method!

This binder is my life now!

I bought this binder back in 2010 for $9.99 at Target. I love it because of the front zip pocket and the according style file pockets where I can store my coupon policies. Inside the binder I have a pocket for my scissors, pens, and other items. The binder zips all the way around so that the coupons won’t fall out. The prices of binders have gone up since then and they are usually priced around $20.

To store my coupons I used baseball card holders. That was I can see the coupons clearly. I have my coupons sorted by food categories in the front and non-food categories in the back. I have a list on google docs that you can see my list of categories for my binder.

I used Post-it tab labels for my categories. Cost around $5 at Staples/Target

I have have a small coupon organizer that I bought last year at Office Depot that I keep in my purse. Inside I have categories for Martins, Kroger, Food Lion, Drug Stores, Target, Office Supply Stores, Pet Stores, Auto and Food.

Staples has coupon organizers for $6.99!

How do you guys file your coupons?
