I think I was as excited as Sophia and Emma to meet and interview the incredibly talented young stars who play Nala & Simba in Disney's Richmond in Broadway's performance of The Lion King.
The gilrls had a great time and the young actors were so much fun! We will definately be seeing them on stage and TV in years to come! Enjoy the article below , our young journalists are looking forward to sharing this and more with you !

We met with Kailah McFadden ( young Nala ) , Sade Philllip-Demorcy ( young Nala ) , Zavion J. Hill ( young Simba) & Adante Power ( young Simba ) who are performing in The Lion King in Richmond at The Landmark Theatre. These young stars are all 10 years old excpet for Adante who already turned 11!
Traveling is part of their daily life, they are gone for 7-8 months out of the year and love to explore the new cities they travel to.
They have many hours of practice each day for their performance and all have a very intense routine to get ready. They start with physical warm ups then vocal warm ups followed by makeup and hair .
All of these young stars wish to fullfill their dreams by becoming professional well known actors. They gave us all some great advice to follow ;never let yourself down, be yourself always ,stay focused, strive hard and keep your spirits up!
They all share in having their first stage performance in Ottowa , Canada being their favorite memory so far.
Even though they are professional actors , they make time for things they enjoy to do ! They all love reading and their favortie genres are mysteries, dramas, comedy and suspense . They also make time for sketching, video games, singing & dancing. Kailah & Sade LOVE to shop at Justice and Zavion & Adonte love to shop at Game Stop !
These young stars work 6 days a week, only having Monday off! School happens on the set of the stage each day by a tutor.
When they finish their tour in Richmond they are headed to New Orleans !
These amazingly talented and hardwroking young actors were so much fun to meet with and can really put on a show! We loved meeting them and wish them all the best in all they do! We were inspired by their enthusisma and spriit!
